The objectives:

Simarco Logistics is a large international shipping company with offices throughout the UK, a worldwide partners network, 8 major distribution centers, its own vehicles fleet and about 30,000 square meters of warehouses! One such logistics center is located in Stoke-on-Trent town.

Project specifics:

Since Simarco is an international company, the security requirements are very high. Representatives of the company asked the installation company DB Security to provide video surveillance and access control systems.

The logistics center is not just warehouses and offices but also a large open area where trucks constantly run. Representatives of the installer company came to the customer’s location and demonstrated the security systems from different manufacturers and negotiations were conducted for several weeks. After several meetings a choice was made. Image quality, ease of software usage as well as good price – all these factors were in favor of video surveillance system from Partizan.

The solution:

About 60 Partizan IP CCTV cameras and Paxton access control system were installed at the facility.

Several IPS-220X-IR robotic IP cameras with a resolution of 2.0 MP, 20x optical zoom and IR LED up to 200 meters were installed there. CCTV cameras rotate according to the route (track) specified in the program, and they can also be controlled using the PNK-3A-PTZ controller.

Dome and outdoor IP cameras with a resolution of 5.0 MP monitor the territory, warehouses and offices of the logistics center.

As we mentioned earlier, this facility has a rather large territory, so it is not always possible to lay cable routes. For example, there is a sufficiently large distance between the supports inside the warehouses, therefore, to transfer the image from the cameras, it was decided to use Ubiquiti access points in some areas and thus connect them all into the single system.

For recording and playback of video 32 channels recorders are used.

The Results:

According to Simarco Logistics reviews – it is now one of their best facilities in terms of the quality of security systems. One more our customer was satisfied and we do hope that in the nearest future he will want to update the security systems at the other 7 centers.

Simarco Logistics – крупная международная компания по перевозке грузов, которая имеет офисы по всей Великобритании, всемирную сеть партнёров, 8 главных распределительных центров, собственный парк транспортных средств и целых 30 000 квадратных метров складов! Один из таких центров расположен в городе Stoke-on-Trent.

Особенности:

Так как Simarco является международной компанией, то и требования к безопасности очень высоки.  Представители компании обратились к монтажной организации DB Security с вопросом по установке системы видеонаблюдения и контроля доступа.

Логистический центр – это не только склады и офисы, но и большая открытая территория, где постоянно курсируют фуры. Переговоры велись несколько недель, так как представители компании инсталлятора приезжали к заказчику на объект и проводили демонстрацию систем безопасности от разных производителей. После нескольких встреч выбор был сделан. Качество изображения, удобство использования программного обеспечения, а также цена – все эти факторы были в пользу видеонаблюдения от Partizan.

Решение:

На объекте установлено около 60 IP видеокамер Partizan и система контроля доступа Paxton.

Несколько роботизированных камер IPS-220X-IR с разрешением 2.0 МП, 20 кратным оптическим зумом и ИК подсветкой до 200 метров установлены на территории центра. Видеокамеры поворачиваются согласно заданному в программе маршруту (треку), а также ими можно управлять с помощью контроллера PNK-3A-PTZ.

Купольные и наружные IP видеокамеры с разрешением 5.0 МП наблюдают за территорией, складами и офисами логистического центра.

Как мы уже упоминали ранее, данный объект имеет немаленькую территорию, поэтому не везде есть возможность проложить кабельные трассы. Например, внутри складов достаточно большое расстояние между опорами, поэтому для передачи изображения с камер было принято решение на некоторых участках использовать точки доступа Ubiquiti и таким образом объединить систему в единую целую.

Для записи и воспроизведения видео используются 32-канальные видеорегистраторы.

Результаты:

По отзывам Simarco Logistics – это один из лучших их объектов по качеству систем безопасности. Еще один заказчик остался доволен, а мы надеемся, что в скором будущем он захочет обновить системы безопасности и на остальных 7-ми своих центрах.
